Red can express a feeling of enthusiasm like fire and festiva ! In China red has a profound meaning especially in the long history ! Red army ,red flag, red blood of innumerable people devoted whole life for the success of revolution !

Sorry I just immerse myself into history a few seconds ! Actually , red dress is my topic of today ! Let me say some story about China red dress !

Chinese people deem red color as the best color .In their opinion red is the symbol of luck and fortune ! Bright colors can follow the atmosphere of festivals! Even though some people dislike red ,brightly-colored clothes will be their first choice !


Whenever in the old times or at modern time , at festivals or great ceremonies, wearing red clothing is the invariant custom all the time . So if you travel to China or visit your Chinese relatives during the Spring Festival, please prepare some brightly-colored coat in advance. This is so-called ' When in Rome, do as Romans do.

Of course the style of the dress changes every day !Nowadays ,several famed designers combine classic red with fashion element to make various red dress !

It was found when i surf during a little street shopping ! This quartz bride dress is so eye catching that I can’t help myself stopping to have a second look !

Cocktail length strapless Fortuny pleated nu-georgette dress with matching matte satin belt and hand worked flower . This dress looks like striking and grace ! Him ,though the delicacy and intuitive design is available , and though the cocktail length meet my expectation ! I think the childhood of choosing it is so small !

Traditionally Chinese didn’t describe white as a lucky color on you wedding , however red is the best .To make all the people surprised ,there are more western brides wear cheongsam and more Chinese brides get dressed with white wedding dress in marriage other than Chinese dress ! Why this phenomenon happens ?

Three reasons will be taken into consideration . Firstly ,with more and more frequent communications between China and western countries ! Chinese customs and tradition including cheongsam and China classic wedding dress will be given policy to the world widely . In the old times ,China red is believed as a classic lucky and all the time ,white is thought of unlucky ! With time goes by ,more and more Chinese people realize white wedding dress is described as purity ,holy, faithful !

Secondly , many young person likes attempt , in their opinion ,wedding is the most important moments worth memorized ! They accept the ideal wedding dress for their holy wedding , even they are eager to try it on !

Thirdly a plenty of western brides appreciate Chinese cloth ,especially cheongsam, which can display all women's modesty, softness and beauty. Like Chinese women's temperament, the Qipao / Cheongsam is elegant and gentle, its long-standing elegance and serenity makes wearers fascinating .

Cultures of all the countries become integrated all over the world , I prefer to see the ending of the emergence of Chinese dress and western white dress !
